Why can't I be hypnotised?

This is a question that hypnosis practitioners also bring up.

My questions are: « Are you alert and constantly analysing the situation? Are you processing your thoughts and what's happening to you and around you? Are you functioning in survival mode? Do you doubt your experience? Do you have any expectations of how you are supposed to be and feel? Are you blocking the flow of information coming to you with your critical mind? »

If you recognise yourself in one of these cases, you're likely operating in beta brainwaves and blocking the alpha and theta brainwaves. Expanded consciousness is a state of allowing.

There is no need to beat yourself for being 'too logical and analytical' or 'stuck in your mind.' Instead, it's more important to understand why you behave the way you behaved.

If you had experienced deep traumas, you might have developed your mental skills to survive, especially if you didn't feel safe within your own body or were very uncomfortable with the energies you sensed in your environment.

Please, acknowledge that part of you that tried to keep you safe. Thank it, and ask it to allow you to reconnect to your intuition, your inner wisdom, and all aspects of you.

There is a new way to live ahead of you that allows you to connect to your body, emotions, soul and Higher Self so that you can feel whole again.
